The Sun Will Shine Again

We've all had those vexing days of gloom and unforgettable nights of sadness. Whether it's a tic of worry about school, an unforgiving quarrel with the one you love, a heartbreaking loss of kin, or even just one of those days; you know those days when you roll out of bed feeling a sensation of unhappiness or maybe even aggravation. You find yourself in a funky mood and sometimes without realizing, you become vile towards the people around you. Needles to say, nobody likes feeling down and in the gully. Sometimes our circumstances can take a toll on us and its okay not to be okay, because life doesn't always gift us with the joys of living. However, there are a plethora of ways to combating ill vibes and apprehensions. A huge part of obtaining a positive perspective on life is to not only obtain good vibes but to exude good vibes. Here are three of many ways to uplift, replenish, and veer your spirits in times of despair.


Seize the day

Don't you just love those days when your bed seems to be glued to your hip? Well despite the comfortability of it all, frequent unproductiveness often leaves you feeling discouraged. Starting your days early and going about your day with a carpe diem attitude could uplift your spirits tremendously. Do things that you enjoy doing. Whether its going out to your favorite restaurant, mingling with friends, or maybe even indulging in a little retail therapy. When you're busy enjoying your day, you have less time, and most importantly, less desire to focus on your worries.


Biggup yourself

We as people sometimes tend to be oblivious of the lovely attributes we possess. Social media plays a big role in deterring our judgment of whats "good enough". More often than always, these social media platforms are a saturation of facades. Never look to social media for affirmation. All the affirmation you need should come from the person who knows you best; yourself. Compliment yourself. No matter your state of being, take five minutes out of your day to have what I like to call mirror remarks. Positive affirmations like "I am pretty", "I am smart", "I am kind", "I am ambitious", "I am confident"-- will leave you feeling a great deal of love for yourself.


Gratitude

Sometimes the bad in our life seems to outweigh the good. In actuality, we often overlook the good things happening for us because we're too focused on confronting the bad. When dealing with mal emotions, take a stride back to give appreciation for all the good things showering upon you. Began journaling everything you are grateful for. In due time, this book of blessings will help you realize that your life is much more fulfilling than you subconsciously assumed.


Fitfully all we need is a little reassurance, and that's just fine, but don't you ever forget that you are a QUEEN! And your life will be as such. So don't sweat the small stuff, everything will come to terms. The journey of life won't always be peaches and cream, but storms always subside and the sun will surely shine again.
