Trend: Jean Mini Skirts

These mini skirts are literally everywhere and they're so trendy! They're also seasonal in my opinion. There's darker and more neutral tones they come in. Some are suede and some a jean material. Some are more of a straight fit and some are stretchy material. There's a style for just about anyone that would want one of their own. I personally own two. I have this jean, stretch material that hugs in the right places for me. For my liking and my body type this fit is a better fit for me overall buttttt that didn't stop my hunt for a cute straight fit with the buttons down the center. So in H&M I found a hot pink one and I'm excited to style it with the right accessories but I'm saving it for cooler weather. I styled this one with a tan cropped tank and my rose gold Marc Jacobs watch with some slide in sandals and double necklaces. My ombre braids also complimented the look with he orange tips.

My advice when and if you shop for these trendy skirts is that if you have hips or butt or even if your waist to hip ratio tends to be a trouble area with jeans like myself the straight fit tends to kick out in the back and may gap at the waist which are two things I personally hate! Which is why I was so happy to come across this stretch material skirt that sits and fits better on my shape. It's really just a trial and error process for this article of clothing so find what works best for you.
