Daily Mantras for an It Gal



Hey It Gals! I'm back with a new element intended to motivate, uplift and empower ourselves. As many of us know it is important to put positive energy and words out into the universe to help transform our thoughts and behaviors into positivity and production. Meditation and the rehearsal of good things are important habits develop. Each week I will share a list of daily mantras and affirmations.


"The goal when you repeat affirmations is to transform your attitude, reactions, behavior, and dispel negative thoughts." Here's a few helpful tips:


#1 Relax your mind and body.

#2 Choose an affirmation that applies to you or one that meets a need.

#3 Repeat the affirmation in one of the following ways:


-Repeat the mantra throughout the day whenever your mind is not engaged.

Example: (Do not repeat them while driving, crossing the street, or doing physical tasks.)

OR

-Set aside a time to meditate and repeat the affirmation for 5-10 minutes.


#4 Use only positive words with no negative meanings. Additionally, use the present tense – now, today, etc. Doing so builds positive images of current reality in your mind.

#5 Pay full attention to the words you are repeating.

#6 Write your affirmation down as you speak it the first time, if you'd like.

#7 Say your affirmation out loud in a confident voice several times a day.

(Try saying it first thing in the morning and before you go to bed at night.)


I will continue to add new mantras weekly, with some weeks being themed and others being general, but if overtime there are some mantras that resonate with you I advise you write it down on a stick note and make it apart of your daily life. There is power in words and words said aloud and I want us to all to be able to look within ourselves and learn to self repair.


MONDAY: "My peace of mind is not disturbed today by things outside of my control."

TUESDAY: "Today is a new day. I am alive, which means I still have purpose."

WEDNESDAY: "Today I will practice gratitude."

THURSDAY: "I do enough. I have enough. I am enough."

FRIDAY: "I will not shrink back from taking up all the space I was designed to fill."
